Product / Topical Authority Mapping

See the map AI has drawn of your market.

The questions, the clusters, the sources it trusts. Trovance charts them from your tracked questions and shows you which territory to publish into next.

The survey

Every question is terrain.

Your tracked questions, 25 on Starter and 100 on Growth, charted into clusters with the channels that run between them.

The assessment

Charted against your company.

What you can credibly claim, what rivals hold, what’s still unclaimed, read from evidence, not opinion.

The reflection

See it the way AI sees it.

Your authority, measured from the answers themselves.

The route

One clear path through the noise.

A plotted route from where you stand to the clusters worth owning.

The authority map

Your market, charted.

See related buyer questions grouped into topic clusters. Open a coverage gap, inspect the questions, and turn a useful answer into your next piece of content.

The assessment

Strategy read from the terrain.

Before Trovance recommends a single topic, it surveys everything that decides whether you can own it.

  • Your companyPages, proof, positioning: what you can credibly claim today.
  • Your marketThe questions buyers actually ask, clustered into terrain worth holding.
  • Your competitorsThe ground they already hold, and where their claims run thin.
  • Your planThe gaps in between become your content strategy, ranked by what each cluster is worth.
The territory

Authority is territory.

The more of the map you hold, the more often you’re the answer. Publish into a cluster and watch whether engines start citing you for the questions inside it.

Light the map

Every piece plants a flag.

Track what you have published in each cluster, what is in progress, and what still needs a useful answer. Citations are measured separately.

Pricing cluster Example coverage: 2 published pieces and 1 draft. Citations are observed separately.
Evaluation cluster Example coverage: 1 published piece and 2 open questions to explore.
Security cluster Example coverage: 3 open questions. Inspect the evidence before choosing the next piece.
Frequently asked questions

Asked, answered.

What is a topic cluster?

A territory of related buyer questions (pricing, evaluation, security, migration) that AI engines answer as a group. Publish into a cluster and watch whether engines start citing you for the questions inside it.

How do you decide which clusters matter?

Trovance assesses you, your market, and your rivals against real observed answers: which territories you hold, which are contested, and which are open. Then it ranks where the next flag should go.

What does “taking” a cluster mean?

Building published coverage for the questions in a cluster. The map tracks that coverage; later observations show whether engines cite it. Publication alone does not establish authority or guarantee a citation.

How is this different from keyword research?

Keywords are what humans type into a search box. Clusters are what agents answer, and authority there is measured in citations and recommendations, not rankings.
